How to Join

Everyone interested in Morse genealogy is welcome to join The Morse Society, and prospective members do not need to prove their lineage to any progenitor. To join simply fill out the membership form and mail it in with your dues payment. All information on living people that is submitted on the membership form will be kept private, and will not be shared with other organizations.

Annual dues rates approved October 2004 by vote of the membership.

The dues year is from January 1st to December 31st. Annual dues are not pro-rated — always remit full dues payment with your application. The exact status of your membership depends on what month you join:  January to September: Dues will apply to the current calendar year. October to December: Dues will apply to the next calendar year. Your mailed newsletter subscription will start with the first issue of the next calendar year.

Life Membership

Life membership in the Morse Society is provided as an option for those individuals who wish to dispense with annual dues payments. It is available for a one-time payment based on the age of the member when the payment is made. Life members are exempt from annual dues.

Membership Renewal

The dues year runs from January 1 to December 31. An Annual member whose renewal dues payment has not been received by March 1 shall be dropped from the rolls of the Society. Paying one's dues for the current year shall reinstate a lapsed annual member. [MS Bylaws, IV.2.a]

To renew your membership simply fill out the application form and mail it in with your dues payment.
