The Morse Society

Join the Morse Society

We invite you to become a member of the Morse Society and join us in discovering and honoring our heritage. While it may be possible for you to find your own ancestry on the internet somewhere, what assurances do you get that it is accurate? One of the most popular on-line genealogy websites has Original Settler Anthony Morse married to seven different women and producing no less than 40 children! The Morse Society has been researching some of these family lines for 115 years, and our archives contain information submitted by descendants dating from the earliest days of the Society. Almost every Research Team member has been doing genealogy for at least a quarter of a century, and they are dedicated to "getting it right". Our genealogical databases change almost daily to reflect the latest research findings.

If that isn't reason enough to send in a membership application, here are a few more:

1) The quarterly Morse Society newsletter, winner of the National Genealogy Society "Best Family Association" newsletter competition in 2004 and 2006. You can opt to receive a black and white copy mailed to you, or you can print it in full color directly from our website.

2) Access to exclusive members-only pages on the website and forum, such as MARA (Morse Archives and Research Aids).

3) Special "members-only" pricing on the 1850 and 1903-05 Morse Genealogies, the last word on Morse genealogy of their day.

4) Priority access to the Research Team Shepherds, who will work with you to overcome the brick walls in your ancestral line.

5) The satisfaction of knowing that you are supporting continuous, ongoing research to fully and accurately record our Morse, Mors, Morss and Moss ancestors, both male and female.
