MS Newsletter  Issue No. 66

The recent Reunion went very well, with 80 people attending. The facilities were excellent and the pre-planning effort by the Committee ensured the success of the day. I got to visit with many of you again and with some of you for the first time. I hope that the day was as pleasant for you as it was for me. We had a sample of a "Morse T-shirt" and took orders for them. They have been mailed and should be arriving before too long. The shirts are light gray and feature the Morse Coat of Arms on the front in black and red.

John Robertson Morse video-taped the Reunion this year. At the Reunion, I looked at Bernice Gilson's copy of a book published by past member Philip M. Morse entitled "Your Ancestors". We are interested in either printing excerpts of this book in future Newsletters or perhaps in having the book reprinted for sale with the funds to go into the Book Fund (which will be used to offset the cost of publishing our next volume of the Morse Genealogy). We will try to get permission from Philip's family to reprint his book as it was privately published with all rights reserved.
